, but please tell me if the copy is illegible and I won't find a way to make it less so. Anyway, I got this book free because I am co-author on a poem in it. It's one of the most valuable payments I have ever received for poetry.
The theme of the book is writings and art related to string theory and I have to admit that when I first heard about it I had misgivings. The editors have done a great job choosing excellent material. Most of the visual art doesn't show up well in this format even though I can tell the Saudi originals probably were much better. The essays are fascinating. But the best part is the fiction. I have thoroughly enjoyed every story I've read so far. I haven't read the whole book; I'll do a better review after I finish. But Elissa Malcohn's story about Arachne, based on the Greek myth, was awesome. My favorite story was about a cosmologist living in a nursing home. I won't say more than that, but the price of the book is almost repaid when you read that story alone.
I'm serious. I have almost never been this happy to get a free copy of a book and I have received at least a hundred over the years.
